What we're about
As the issue of slavery reparations intensifies in America more and more
people are standing up to speak their view on the matter. This site joins
the list of those who are speaking out against it. However, this site has
an additional message.
Some people will, regardless of the political outcome of this issue,
acquiesce to whatever decision is necessary, including the paying of
reparations against their beliefs. The people of this site will not. All of
the individuals who have pledged on this web
site share a common message for the country.
No matter what pressure is brought up us, no matter what laws are
passed, no matter what verdicts are handed down, no matter what consequences
there are to following our conscience, and no matter what it is that we
have to do to fulfill our pledge, we give our pledge that we will give in
no further. Paying reparations in the year 2003 for an act that ended
in 1865 is wrong, and we will not participate; and that is all there is to
it.
We have had enough.
We're drawing the line here.
We won't pay.
