first I must say my grand parents were still in europe when all this slave crap took place.and when they came to america they did not have it any better than slaves working in the mills, sometime 24 hour a day,of the biggest racketeer of them all: andrew carnegie, the biggest anti labor force at one time.so do I sue USX?
or for my wifes grandparents,"no irish need apply"
but to give that sum of money to that many people, would eradicate our entire economic system, rendering our dollar about as valueable as a German mark in world war 1, when it took a wheel barrow of hundred mark notes to by a loaf of bread.
and we are well aware that giving that amount to a person who is not used to having such money will only result in over spending by a psuedo lavish lifestyle, drug or alcohol addiction, more broken marriages and parentless children.as evidenced by the many lottery winners that scwandered in a few months what should have lasted three lifetimes.
and there is enough friction on this matter nationwide both north and south, rich and poor, that paying any reparations in any amount, would result in another civil war. A revolution if you will , of people against people, brother against brother, rich against poor, the people against our government and justice system. All HELL would break loose in this fine nation.our nation was once nearly split by civil issues that concerned states rights and took years to rebuild. can we as a nation suffer thru that again?
And lets ask another question here: Are there other nations that are fueling this debate, in order to spark inner turmoil in USA."
GEE if we destroy ourselves, that would solve some small countries problem of destroying that pesky big brother.
or maybe an inner faction here in good ol' USA an inner faction that could withstand economic breakdown? a faction that is so weathy it would not matter if money were valueless?
or a group that couldn't care lees what happens to the world.
what we have here is people that are selfishly thinking only of a fast unearned buck, without thinking thru the consequences.
